How much better was Russ? I get that you are now riding with the guy who is left (I recall you riding for both at the time) but that was and always will be on both of them. Any attempt to point the finger at one is just plain silly.
Westbrook wasn't great in 5 and 6 either but he wasn't abysmal. Russ was the reason we were up in the first place 3-1, kd didn't show up at all besides game 7 on offense. He didn't create for anyone himself included

This post doesn't get made if KD comes back. No point in going back and forth and pointing to the facts and reality of the situation because it's clear you are on some "with us or against us" shyt. Go ahead and :cook:.

But I called him out DURING the playoffs. That post was already made. He didn't show up against the spurs nor Dallas either. But none of that matters

Did the 2016 NBA Finals not happen?
They ignore the 2012 finals onward. They argue Kobe got buckets in 2010 and that LeBron got locked down in 2013 and 2014 while scoring as much or a little bit less on vastly higher efficiency and many more assists too. Facts are not their friend.

the ether
First Kobe recognizes him, now MJ. The only player in the L with that rare alpha dog, cold blooded killer instinct in him. Thats what fueled Bird, Jordan, Kobe, Isiah Thomas and Magic. Its a rare gene and he's the ONLY player in the NBA with it right now.

That list is awful.

I can't even figure out what you think those guys have in common with each other, or what Westbrook has in common with them, that, say, Lebron/Lilliard/Wade/Irving/Dirk/Durant and everyone else in the league supposedly don't have.

Curry shoots well over 60% in the paint though :dahell:

Edit: he's shot 69% and 70% at the rim the last few seasons and is a career 45% shooter from 10 feet to 23 feet. He just takes the closest shots or the 3's. Mid range jumpers simply aren't the business anymore. :manny:

ok you just agreed with me. if he can take like 2 or 3 different shots and make them at a high clip then dudes is in here acting like they have to have someone that can make shyt from all over just because he has more options. guys weren't picking shaq bc he had 50 post moves, but bc the 2 he did have were basically unstoppable. that's the whole point, you don't need all that shyt if what you have works better.

My boy, you can be dominant and not be an ice cold killer. Steph, KD are prime examples of beta dudes who still dominate. What I mean by being an "ice cold killer" or "assassin" is all mental. Someone who is like that is a person who doesn't care about anything other than winning. He wants the ball in his hands and he wants the outcome of the game to rely on him. He is not buddy buddy with cats on the court. He is not joking around with teammates, etc. Somebody who would literally step on your neck in order to get a W. Thats MJ, thats Kobe and thats Russ.

However that is NOT Lebron in my book. I remember when LBJ lost the finals a few years back and in the post game presser he said , and I paraphrase, "Losing does upset me, but I get to go home to my family and kids and by tomorrow I'm not even worried about it". :what:

Those words would never come out of MJs mouth because losing haunted him. LBJ doesn't have the same mentality, breh. He's dominant but not like MJ. Kobe is the same way. There's a reason why he's the only one compared to Jordan mentally. Kobe's problem is, while he has the mentality like MJ, his offensive decision making isn't up to par.

It sounded like you were mad at curry for shooting so many 3's and didn't think he could do anything else. I was saying that really he doesn't have a weakness on offense since he shoots well from anywhere.

Westbrook is good but his game isn't polished enough to "be" MJ. He hella athletic but his game isn't right.

Having blessed to watch MJ ball. I could always see baby MJ in Westbrook, that is why he is my favorite player.

The ferociousness. :ohlawd:
