I thought Hova Ova was some internet message board photoshopped cover thing.
I read somewhere D Block was going to do a fukk 50 volume 1
I know FOR CERTAIN Cam'ron was supposed to do "Courtesy Curtis" though
I'ma drop a few gems that almost no one knows.
M.O.P. had an unreleased project produced entirely by Pete Rock, right in the Soul Survivor era.
Game and Just Blaze did a project in the late 00's of all horror movie sample beats.
9th Wonder was at one point going to produce all of (or at least 75% of) the 534 album by Memphis Bleek, and at one point they even had an idea to have Bleek rap over click tracks and then have 9th make the beats to Bleek's vocals after the fact. There was a dope beat for it with a vocal sample that said "You can't take my family jewels" where Bleek, Beans, and Free would all rap about what the Rocafella chain meant to them.
Roc Marciano and Alchemist did an album in between Marcberg and Reloaded (before Roc blew up on the indie scene) and Roc was asking so much for it from labels that no one wanted to pay for it. A friend of mine with a pretty dope ear was working at a label at the time, heard it, and surprisingly told me he didn't think it all that dope (even though he was a fan of both guys' music.) Alchemist also has a little project with Styles P somewhere in the vaults.
