I see particular posters and their long running narratives. That statement didn't come out of nowhere. General biases you hold inform all your view points.

You sound like an emotional schizo. I still have no idea what you’re talking about & how this has anything to do with Afrobeat.

You nikkas love to gaslight. AA never gave a shyt about ya’ll so why would we hate? You absorb our culture and the way we speak and dress. You nikkas give off jealous little brother syndrome.

Recognizing our own culture and contributions is hating now?

You new nikkas different…
Yep.

If we're so awful, why are they here? We don't go to their forums because we're not interested. Yet they're ALWAYS in the mix, always watching, discussing, analyzing our culture... the very culture they say we don't have. Same shyt happens on LSA.

It's truly a phenomenon.

This such a sad post. Yes, those terms are real. They are coloqialisms that exist in almost every country for Americans. To get so butt hurt over it and let it validate a hate for an entire continent? Yea shows a deep level of insecurity which again is pretty sad.

I’m pretty sure white dudes ain’t :sadcam: at being called gringo or yankee.

It’d be like black women waging war on all black men bc some use the word bytch. Or black men hating other black men bc some say/are ‘c00n’, or ‘thug’. Both scenarios would be insecure and counterproductive it’d be terrible if “ADOS” had that mindset….oh, wait :beli:

You sound like them cacs back in hip hop is a fad era. For the record it's already been over a decade. Just because it's relevance to a western audience is new does not mean it's new.

The way you dudes echo and emulate crakkkas is always hilarious and quite telling. Don't wait to be wrong. I'll tell you right now it's not going anywhere. It will keep evolving.

Disingenuous post. Jareer can be used against all non Somalian Black people including other Africans.. same with mayate, kaffir. Yankee is used against white and black northeners. It's not a specific ados slur. Neither is akata. It was turned into that from close contact but the term was used against other Africans who left home initially. You guys cried about this term then invented tether and use it profusely online after decrying akata.

Have some self awareness. The fact that you even tried to pretend like all those terms were coined to specifically insult your people or are used exclusively towards your people is retarded. Besides akata and it's modern use all those other terms are anti Black slurs for all of us collectively. Be less retarded

This is what victim complex means in its most accurate non racist usage. You have a victim complex.
Two fakkits lying and projecting bcause we're no longer tolerating their bullshyt. SMD :pacspit:

Not at all. And who is we. You a minority and don't speak for your people. They are going to Burna shows and have no issues. You detractors are outlier weirdos. None of those terms dude posted are exclusive ados slurs. None

That's reality not a lie. When dudes get fact checked here they bytch and moan because their narratives fall apart. Name calling won't cut it. You are claiming when are lying while perpetuating a lie. don't play stupid. Akata, jareer, kaffir, Mayate. None of these are ados exclusive slurs. The only one you could argue in present usage is Akata but even that is used against other Africans. The reast is specifically anti Black race not ados.

be less retarded. That victim complex shyt is not cute.

Jamaicana say that.
Where you hear that?

"Yanks" is not even in the vocabulary
Seriously
Never heard that word in my life
First time

"Yankee yute, Yankee Bredda, Yankee p*ssyhole, Yankee Badman, Yankee Bredrine" etc etc etc and all variations of

Never "Yanks"

nikkas really need to go outside and mingle with the Diaspora.
It’s common knowledge that Caribbean people call white people, Americans or their own ppl in America “Yankee”

I actually appreciate you merging that post bc I didn’t see it :ehh: He’s right, you and folk like you have a victim complex. And that’s not even meant as a diss, it’s just so obviously true

Oh and btw, we grew up hearing a lot worse than 1 word. Yet most of aren’t goin around crying and disparaging a whole population, forging petty division. So you’ll have to forgive me if I don’t coddle your fukking feelings over akata. Man up

Afrobeat won’t be around in 5 years :manny:

It's the sound of an entire continent - it will be :mjlol:

Afrobeats has been around for decades. It's only recently become mainstream largely due to the African diaspora. Maybe it won't be mainstream in the US in another 5 years, but the top artists will continue to tour and sell out shows globally.

Do people think consumption of entertainment starts and stops in America? :russ:

They really do be thinking America is the end all be all. The world is getting closer thanks to technology and we will be sharing and engaging with one another a whole lot more in the years to come.
