This is basically what I was alluding to upthread: the guy doesn’t mean any harm - he’s just ignorant & doesn’t know how to articulate his message properly most times. He also does come across as being narcissistic & opportunistic with a chip on his shoulder but you can’t deny his talent (he’s the most versatile & talented amongst them).

He’s not entirely wrong hence I’m also very selective when it comes to the Afrobeats artists I fukk with. But on a platform as big as Zane Lowe & Apple Music - his focus should’ve been on the positive side of the genre. He also made the same mistake when he said what everyone on this thread is arguing about.

Burna while musically talented is not the greatest orator, I understood everything he wanted to say but it came out wrong due to language barrier
