Zeke Kareem Hunt and Dalvin Cook are still unsigned. Hunt deserves a chance somewhere to be a starter while Cook gained almost 1200 yards last year. Zeke may not be what he was but he's still got 800-1000 yard potential and still is a great goal line option. All only like 27/28 and it's a good chance at least one of them will never carry the ball for an NFL franchise again.
If this is the case they might as well get rid of the position. I would never let my son play RB at this point. Tear your body up for low wages and a short career. It’s disgusting how RBs getting done

They need to front load running back contracts. For the first 5-8 years of their career they should be getting QB money

Nick Chubb talkin bout rushing yards and carries....fukk all that....that's exactly what's the problem
Part of the RB call should be shifting the public narrative from runner back to "offensive weapon"
If you're a RB you should only be talking about your receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and pass-blocking....pretty much anything related to passing

They need to sit out the first 5 games to prove a point
Is that every running back, or just the Pro-Bowlers and All-Pros? Because I'm sure there weren't a ton of back-ups and almost certain zero third stringers invited to that call. They'll step in with zero regard. They're looking to take their jobs everyday. Honestly, I don't know why that call was released to the public.

Why are brehs bringing up the Union? The game has just gone away from workhorse running backs. Should the NBAPA fight for back to the basket centers who can't shoot pass 10ft? Jahllil Okafor somewhere wishing he was born 20 years earlier

Seems like a workhorse offensive weapon...5th in receptions
107 receptions
722 receiving yards
5 receiving touchdowns
6.7 yards per reception

204 carries
915 rushing yards
13 rushing touchdowns
4.5 yards per carry

But they're betting they can plug in a cheaper back or two and get 80/90% of that production, and they probably could

Media talking point and completely disagree. Every successful QB past and present relied on a good run game. Nothing has changed. Right now its capitalism at its finest. The NFL is finding ways to pay players less.

Over 50% or more of them nikkas live paycheck to paycheck, so they can't afford to hold out on anything. They will budge every time and accept minimal concessions.
Paycheck to paycheck and a large portion of rosters are worried about losing their job. We all got a squad right? I bet all of us can name an undrafted free agent or journeyman who earned a spot on the roster by working his ass off. Those guys making less than 900k on a 1 year deal, just trying to survive. Or the guys on the 2 year, 4mil contracts who are trying to buy a big house and take care of their entire family. League is full of guys who would fold less than a month into a strike lol.

Oakland
Austin Ekeler is in a GREAT position.

If he sits out 3-5 games, that contract they just gave Herbert is gonna have management looking at the QB sideways.

You don't just take away a player that catches 100+ balls (pause) a season and have it NOT affect the QB.

I think Ekeler gets paid, along with Kareem Hunt (smaller amount).
