He could've been like Sammy The Bull if he was smarter, that nikka on youtube reminiscing about murders he committed like an old granddad telling war stories and making bank
Every 70s and 80s and 90s gangster that's alive and free got a Youtube channel at this point. shyt is WILD. But it can be very lucrative.

Yup I knew credit card scamming was too sophisticated for this old nikka

He was selling dope :snoop:

55 years old selling dope in Harlem still in the nightlife mix out at 3 AM on Halloween :mindblown:
I mean he could've been cracking cards too. nikkas in the streets usually have multiple hustles

Facts! Imagine having having the hood popularity of a movie star, mixed with some of the most outlandish street rumors of all time…and then people expecting you to live the quiet life of a librarian… that shyt was never going to happen. I read that when you get placed in the witness protection program, you have some say in what region you are in (West Coast, Mid-West etc.). The fact that he chose Maine says it all. He’s a (relatively)quick drive from Harlem where he can get right back in the mix.

Call a 7 hour drive a quick drive brehs :gucci:

Nobody ever escapes "the life".

This isn't true. Everyone has the same opportunities to leave, it's just that most won't take it...

There are heads alive and well who broke away with no debts (and by "debt" I dont mean just money)...

This was Alpo's fate because he couldn't leave it alone. There's an old jail/prison saying, that incarceration saves alot of people. It definitely saved Alpo. Dudes with 10+ bodies walking the streets are extremely, extraordinarily rare. The vast majority of those dudes die the way they lived while they are young or are gone and never getting out, if anything dying just 6 years post release proves he wouldn't have made it past 31...

To the initial point, despite the popularization of that culture online and stuff, the guys walking around with that kind of history are mainly living in silence because they did escape it cleanly...

What is the origin or motivation behind your fascination with these hood super heroes?

For those who were never intimately in the streets, as others have already pointed out its an entertainment medium at this point...

For those who were or are, it's an outlet to kick it about shyt that people like you understand...

The people who did this should pay, Alpo had to pay, why shouldn't them.

This is a troll post but they will. This stuff comes back on everyone...

The people in your circle will mostly salute you for knocking down a snitch but that same energy you knocked the snitch down with will return towards you...

Like there was some stunted growth there due to the decades in the pen.

This is a story as old as The Culture itself, I know yall have heard someone say, dudes get off a bid and come home like it's nothing...

Prison stunts your growth when you go in there young or with immaturity. Everyone isn't like him but many are...

shyt is bugged out. ALL that shyt we all heard about happened before he was even 25. All the weight, the murders the going to Bmore and DC. shyt is crazy.

True shyt, fam had a chance to walk and leave the lifestyle behind. Regardless about how one feels about any of his past actions, he was given a chance to redeem his life and start over clean. He just didn't...

He was probably moving work in maine:patrice:

Hav cousin ferg brim got caught up out there...

And someone I know told me a second hand story about stuff out there...

nikkas definitely go out there to move

Got a homeboy from Hunts Point BX living in Bangor last couple years, I don't know if he still touching shyt (he is working now) bit he went up there initially because of the drugs...

Damn word? What happened?

Harlem such a beautiful neighborhood in NYC. Always a good time when I’m out there but I know it gets dicey in certain parts still
Wrong place wrong time :yeshrug:

I was in the park when I shouldn't have been.

I went to watch a game being played there with rucker park being the mecca of street basketball...didn't realise the time I went was a game only locals would go to so I stuck out like a sore thumb in the bleachers :snoop:

Niccas started whispering in my peripheral trying to figure out who I was :mjpls::demonic:

Niccas obvs didn't know who I was so they dipped on some :mjpls: "aiiiii" and headed into polo grounds

There was only 1:40 left of the game so i thought to just wait until the game finishes so my movements don't look bait and weave in and out the crowd and gtfo there before they came back

Game finishes and see ole dudes across the street on his way back with four other man

I weave in and out the crowd and dip. The end :yeshrug: the other confrontation in southside chicago was a direct 1 on 1 but i can't be assed to tell that story, it's too long to write out.

It was my fault anyway, i was tourist-ed out moving dumb and i'd got way too comfy with the city. I'd spent the week walking everywhere dolo without a care in the world and had been partying in queensbridge projects, soundview, bushwick, parts of harlem and queens blah blah blah...it was a good reminder sh't aint sweet and i can get got if i'm not on my p's and q's :manny:

When Sammy was released in witsec, he went RIGHT back to crime also.

Salvatore Gravano, the former Mafia hit man and government informant, was sentenced to 20 years in prison yesterday by a federal judge in Brooklyn for buying and selling the drug Ecstasy after starting a new life in Arizona.

:picard: at your last moments throwing drugs out instead of getting your life right with God
He didn't panic. Wasn't his first time being shot, he had the presence of mind to toss the drugs from the car. He wasn't thinking about dying, but of being sent back to jail.

Dude was a criminal to the core.
