Was just in oak town last weekend visiting a lady friend (met on a cruise)/going to her cookout on sabado.


It’s been a few years since going to the bay and this time, realized how much more one loved the vibe of oakland city and its vast culture, rich history in black roots and community unison versus sf (it’s like the Portland of Cali).

Food and nightlife is amazing.


Not sure what the crime stats are like, but I know homelessness is still burgeoning like a secondary skid (mark) row.
