i didn't mean it like the joy of a relationship > sex. I meant you shouldn't think "I need sex from ________ in order to be happy." that's the part where dudes play themselves.
relationships can help you be happy or miserable just like sex can. EDIT: Being dependent on the relationship (or sex) to be happy is what will make someone miserable.
I know you weren't talking about relationships. I am talking about (healthy) relationships. I was pointing out how a healthy relationships (not necessarily committed) are more beneficial than trying to have sex with just anyone for the sake of. And the result of superficial interacts is ultimately detrimental to that person.
Dependency on anything to achieve happiness is detrimental. Happiness starts from within.

i got slightly addicted to stripclubs in my early 20sthe options had me going back every saturday for a month. i kinda take issue with saying they're enjoyable though. once you notice certain patterns and behaviors, stripclubs become very depressing; FAST.
it's cool for a guy to go maybe once a year to treat himself, but stripclubs can really weird you out after awhile. i feel the same way about casinos and bars as well.

It's not. Every animal that procreates is sexual. Having sex solely for the pleasure is not natural. Again, most animals don't even do that. You live in a society that promotes and encourages you to be hyper sexual. You are social conditioned to be that way and you accept it knowingly or unknowingly. I am not blaming you b/c we are all conditioned but understand that you are who you choose to be.
i'd argue that most animals probably don't do it because it would be too dangerous.
It's pretty dangerous for humans.
i agree that it is somewhat but two things:
-it's not as dangerous for humans (as far as the threat of physical violence/murder)
-the fact that it's still somewhat dangerous and to top it off not that easy is part of the reason a lot of men don't do it. not necessarely because of self control.
I get it, stripping pays the bills. I understand that, I have hustler friends as well who do it legally so I understand. But like I ask him, I will ask you. Why this? You are smart, have goals and aspirations, can think on the fly, not sexing every Adam and Phil, but why this. You can help change the world positively. This is really selling yourself short, there is no cash worth selling yourself short. Regardless if you agree which you likely don't or do, I just think you are worth so much more than this. At the same time, I am not going to judge you and look down on you, I just want you to have the best of things. You don't seem materialistic. You don't seem to have low self-esteem, I can see a few character flaws but we are all human so that's expected.
What's natural is what is beneficial. Doing something willingly that unnecessarily puts you in harms way with no benefit is not natural.
If you choose to think that you are hyper sexual then you are. If you were born into any other culture on this planet you would have a totally different view on sexuality be it more conservative or more liberal. There are plenty men who are not hyper sexual and don't view themselves as such. Hyper sexual is you're reality.
what you consider beneficial depends on your values and beliefs. there is no absolute benefit to being more or less sexual. just like you said it depends on the culture you are born in. but who's to say we are "hyper sexual"? according to who? if it makes someone happy, why do you not consider it beneficial to him? everything that happens in nature is natural. Just because you don't see the benefit (maybe because it wouldn't make you happy) doesn't mean it's not natural.
