When you’re competing for a championship you have to overpay for talent. See Patriots overpaying for Sanu. Teams ain’t really trying to help you. At the end of the Day being in Win now mode allows you to do that. The 3rd and 4th rounder for the most part are players not ready to contribute right away.
So here are some of our past few 3rds;
2013 - Corey Lenoneir
2014 - Marcus Martin
2015 - Eli Harold
2016 - Will Redmond
2017 - Whitherspoon & Beathard
2018 - Warner & T Moore
2019 - Hurd
Yes, I think I’m good with this move
On top of this, we’ve been weak at WR for playoff runs in the past and it came back to haunt us
Remember when Brett Swain and Joe Hastings had to play in that NFC title game against the Giants?
Yall love some damn draft picks smh. They tryin to win now
Man I hate that outsiders call San Francisco San Fran man lmao but now welcome

right fyck dem picks lol
don't like the trade...I guess the only consolation is that we finally finna have low picks. Id be fine with 4th but 3rd is an area where real impact players can be drafted
I don't like this kind of thinking either. Just because we couldn't draft doesn't mean there's no impact player available. But out of all our 3rds..... Fred Warner is about the only IMPACT player we’ve drafted in pretty much this decade

Wasn't Frank Gore a third round pick anyway?
The other reason I don't like the trade is that he's a pure rental for basically half a season and playoffs, on decline and I'm not even sure he's much better than what we have
Anyway, that's my initial assessment, I'll be glad if I'm proven wrong
