The 4th we gave up will be a low 4th and the 5th we got back from Denver will be a high 5th. Those picks that got swapped are essentially a wash, so the trade was basically Sanders for a low 3rd

When you’re competing for a championship you have to overpay for talent. See Patriots overpaying for Sanu. Teams ain’t really trying to help you. At the end of the Day being in Win now mode allows you to do that. The 3rd and 4th rounder for the most part are players not ready to contribute right away.

A little steep for Emmanuel Sander but in all fairness, we can maneuver in the draft if need be and quite frankly the scouting department has done an excellent job mining late picks and UDFAs. It's a different energy right now, we were happy if we went 8-8 or snuck into the Wildcard this year. Now all of a sudden we're competing for the 1 seed and a Superbowl at this rate .
