All depends on price. If it's $22+...unless there's the 250 Bonus for preorders...I'm passing. I don't crave Steels like that, so I'm fine to wait usually.

Reminds me of the vertigo movie poster

I like the pre molotov stuff more than a lot of the original script ending

In the original script, Michelle escapes the shelter and is chased through the farmhouse by Howard, who still wants to “protect” her. She blinds him with bathroom cleaner, he tells her about his tragic life (dead wife, missing daughter, treacherous Nate, etc.), and then she shoots him in the kneecap and runs away. He ends the movie alive, entreating Michelle to “be careful.” Later, after traveling down empty roads and finding no one around to help her, she crests a hill and sees the Chicago skyline, smoldering and destroyed. No explanation is given. We don’t even know what she will do next, only that she now knows that Howard, for all his oddity, was correct. The final line in the script is, “She slowly pulls down the mask on the hazmat suit before taking a breath.”
That og ending is exactly how I envisioned this flick to end. Almost to a T aside from the house chase. They jumped the shark when she immediately saw the space craft then showing a poorly designed alien. My lady loved the movie then started sighing once the alien shyt started.

Dope fukkin movie, I can't totally Co sign the ending, it could've been more ambiguous but still show some very cool stuff.

Goodman was excellent.

7/10. Should've been 9/10. Hard to end a movie like this without disappointed nerds or regular viewers. Oh well.

i thought i did say it but I'll use your words and say it again....

I didn't like 10 Cloverfield Lane but I'm not gonna say it was a bad movie. That's just lazy.
i don't have a problem with his John Goodman acting skills, i didn't like the character he was portraying

He's an implied sexual predator with PTSD conspiracy theorist/ serial killer..... he's not supposed to be likable!

I just got back from seeing the late night showing. The was moving kinda slow for me in the beginning (I'm an action movie person), goodman gave off a pedophile vibe when he was first talking to Michelle. I hate pedophiles with a passion. A lot of the action in thw movie was kinda predictable.

When they were at the dinner table for the first time, Emmett said some black joke, using "black" slang, I was like damn they can not keep black folks off their mind.

It's was an okay movie, I was not expecting a lot, I just like watching movies. I always look for some kinda of hidden message.

Saw it. fukking LOVED it.

Goodman absolutely carried the film. The way he could flip from his dry humour,to disturbing to child like anger but with a huge frame was spectacular.

Anybody saying this was predictable is lying through their teeth.

I liked the ending personally because it fit the overall style of the film. Best movie Ive watched this year. Cant wait for the third in the anthology.

9/10
