NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
The first movie was so polarizing with how people viewed it. Some people loved it. Some people hated it. I was hype as fukk after the teaser trailer and people hated on it when it came out and I held off from watching it for like a year. Watched it and that shyt was FIRE to me. One of the many instances where I realized not to care about other peoples opinions when I'm interested in something.

Obviously the chick lost her mind and was like fukk this kill me or lets move on. They gotta be family because that chick would get the dikk every single day. Have that bunker smelling like badussy

That's what JJ said basically

“The idea came up a long time ago during production. We wanted to make it a blood relative of Cloverfield. The idea was developed over time. We wanted to hold back the title for as long as possible.”

My guess? Cloverfield becomes an anthology series of monster movies or Twilight Zone type shyt and this is the 2nd entry. Almost like what they tried to do with Halloween

Sounds dope, but damn... :francis:

Cloverfield was such a powerful joint, built on the premise of knowing nothing. It created the feel of the attack so genuinely, that you just felt the NEED for the story to be fleshed out. Thank GOD it had nothing to do with LOST, tho.

J. Jonah Abrams created a mythology... without having an actual mythology :wow:

I think, well for me anyway, that one movie is enough. I got everything I needed to get and I think that might be the problem with doing a true sequel to it. JJ and Reeves and Goddard may feel the same way: Where do we go from here that's truly interesting? Finding out where the monster came from could be cool but is that going to interest me for a whole flick? Probably not. A movie focused on the military?:coffee: A movie on some other part of NYC and the same story from a different angle? :coffee:Now you're just making the same movie but with different characters. I think the anthology way of doing it is smart because they're probably running into the same problem Carpenter did with Halloween: What the fukk else can I do or say that I didn't do or say the first time without making an inferior product?

Lol no one got got when JJ came out and said what it is and what it isn't..but this being the intnernet, no one's going to pay attention to that and then when March comes and cats don't get what they want, theyre going to be mad at him when he told everyone what the deal was. :manny:

Actually, I just meant within the context of the plot... a monster showed up, beasted, feasted, and there was nothing we could do about it.

NOTHING :damn:
