This movie was excellent! I couldn't even finish the original Cloverfield because it was so bad.
But this movie was a thing of surprise. I can see how it may be in the same universe, but you could easily pretend it's not. It really did feel like a artsy independent psychological thriller.
What I loved is the way it explored different types of monsters. The person who said it was predictable is straight up lying. In fact any who says that hasn't seen this movie. And I challenge you to name 3 other movies like this.
The movie plays with us and teases that nothing is black and white. That truth can come wrapped up in pretty lies. The acting was off the chain, particularly Goodman. And the tension build is
