This ngga a spectacular spinnerWhat you mean "that's a way to put it"? You believe Ja will be blackballed? If not, you're crying for nothing. Which is something you seem to do often.
You need to ask Booker and his trainers/coaches.
Trae's 3PT% is irrelevant. Ja's team has a better record without him, using that is a moot point. SGA has not done more than Trae for their respective teams, so flat out false. Trae has always had these limitations be an issue, he was just as likely to be Jimmer Fredette as he was to be an All-Star. He was boom or bust from Day One.
Ain't no "way to put it". That's what it is. The fact you can't zoom in on one player makes the point.
Giddy is good but isn't more dominant than any of these American players named, stop it. Wemby has not played a game on American soil and hasn't even proven he can play an NBA season. Stop it.
I took 3 minutes to type that and this.
My stance is you're unable or unwilling to articulate yours and are throwing shyt at the wall for it to stick. This ngga a spectacular spinner
So your stance—-comically so—-is there is no problem nothing to see here. Bet. Then say less
All that rambling and Juelzing talkin bout Jimmer fredette
Embiid came up through the AAU/American hoop infrastructure as well.
The only organized teams he played for are American teams. He competed in a camp overseas..his development came through the Florida Rams aau program and KU.
Embiid didn’t even come to this country until 16. The ‘American hoops infrastructure’ starts WELL before 16
If anything his success is due to him NOT being overly exposed to said infrastructure at an early age. Not to mention all his raw skills, footwork, etc came from playing soccer as a youth.
Trying to take credit for Embiid’s success is some nasty nasty work
You’re looking at this from a defensive standpoint and just want ‘credit’The only organized teams he played for are American teams. He competed in a camp overseas..his development came through the Florida Rams aau program and KU.
The only real fact is that he is an American. You’re looking at this from a defensive standpoint and just want ‘credit’
The fact of the matter is 1- Embiid is not American, and 2- His development physically came from his upbringing. 16 years worth.
You take that away and it don’t matter where he played aau he’s Kevon looney
Once the 80s and early 90s babies retire which is right around the cornerHow long will it be before LEGITIMATE (2 black parents) blacks are no longer 50% of the nba?
America is laughably behind in everything. Our education our infrastructure our health care. The British took over acting. Foreign directors win best difector. The last five MVPs are foreigners. Our women are trash
They learn and teach fundamentals. Our kids are doing stupid skills training. It’s pretty simple. Over here youngins with talent play AAU which isn’t really the ideal setting for getting pro ready.
Over there youngins with talent literally go pro. Dudes like Luka, Jokic and Wemby been playing against grown men since they were 15.
Then you got another subset of foreign stars like Embiid and Giannis who actually refined their game mainly in the USA but have a different level of hunger and work ethic than your average American prospect, because they literally came from the mud.
So basically American players underperform because we’ve fostered a horrible environment for molding prospects, and American culture of coddling/entitlement often means these dudes just don’t want it enough. A lot of these young American stars are celebrities with hundreds of thousands if not millions of IG followers before they ever played a second of pro ball.
It's been time to ban AAU basketballI'm not sure there's enough evidence to support the narrative about American hoopers, but I will definitely co-sign that AAU is absolute trash.
It was amazing to me seeing how many young boys and their families were putting more effort and time into their AAU teams when they were consistently learning twice as much about how to actually play from their school teams. I could specifically name two elite prospects at our school who were fukked over by AAU coaching.
