It would have been a mistake to go with Anglo actors for those particular roles because I don't think that's honest to the world of the show.

Why would it have been a mistake to make Calvin the Drug Dealer a white guy in this show's world? Are all the drug dealers in the L.A. of TWD black? TWD Universe white dudes can't sell drugs? What the fukk?

That is such a piss poor response from the showrunner. I know it's horror movie trope to kill off the minority characters first but with the big brother show having such strong minority characters (Michonne, Morgan, Tyrese) you would think they would at least try and copy this for the sister show. But no, they just want to get rid of nikkas like they're filling out a quota.
