I can listen to KRS One's albums with Boogie Down Production
All of Kool G Raps albums
All of Rakim's albums
Slick Rick's first album
Run DMC's first album

After that, I can't really listen to 80s albums front to back

funny enough, I almost posted "well, these albums come closest to full listens" and Great Adventures is one of the top ones.

But yeah, some dated beats/songs. I'm listening to "Let's Get Crazy" right now. Not a terrible song, but not exactly something I'd want to hear more than once.
Nobody wanted to hear that shyt back then. :what:

Consistently, without feeling the need to skip? yeah

You have to understand though: I've been listening to a song or two off Supreme Clientele almost every day since 2006. For the last 5 years or so, I've been driving around with that playing. That shyt has STUPID replay value.

There are great hip hop albums like Doggystyle that have songs I really love (e.g. Gin and Juice, Pump Pump, Murder Was the Case, Tha Shiznit), but I don't think I could sit through the entire thing over and over again without wanting to skip songs. or even changing the CD because I got bored of the vibe after hearing the best it had to offer.
:dwillhuh:
That's an insanely high standard.
Just because you don't want to listen to an album 4 times in a row with no interruptions doesn't mean you can't play the thing front to back once.

It Takes a Nation dropped 4 days after I was born and I play it all the time. One of my favorite albums ever in any genre that I always play all the way through when I'm at the gym
