Nobody wanted to hear that shyt back then.funny enough, I almost posted "well, these albums come closest to full listens" and Great Adventures is one of the top ones.
But yeah, some dated beats/songs. I'm listening to "Let's Get Crazy" right now. Not a terrible song, but not exactly something I'd want to hear more than once.
I know op has a bad rep and is a troll but..
License to ill and Paul's boutique.
You're not a Hip hop fan or you're just racist if you disagree
Truth hurts don't it
Consistently, without feeling the need to skip? yeah
You have to understand though: I've been listening to a song or two off Supreme Clientele almost every day since 2006. For the last 5 years or so, I've been driving around with that playing. That shyt has STUPID replay value.
There are great hip hop albums like Doggystyle that have songs I really love (e.g. Gin and Juice, Pump Pump, Murder Was the Case, Tha Shiznit), but I don't think I could sit through the entire thing over and over again without wanting to skip songs. or even changing the CD because I got bored of the vibe after hearing the best it had to offer.
I'll take "Public Enemy No 1" over ANY song on It Takes A Nation
That's an insanely high standard.
Just because you don't want to listen to an album 4 times in a row with no interruptions doesn't mean you can't play the thing front to back once.
Your thread title is you can't listen to any album from the 80s in full.Whoever said I can't listen to a project once?
