Well there is the rumor that the event that was supposed to be in June got pushed to august so that might be where we get the reveal....sony and ms playing chicken at this point when it comes to the price

If Epic nails it, will help the many MS studios on UE5
This is saying that the video showed for the initial showing of Unreal Engine 5 is streaming data at 768MB a second. Remember, 2.4GB is raw speed for XSX, 4.8GB for compressed data. That is currently less than 1/3rd speed raw, less than 1/6th speed compressed. SSDs will be important this gen but what is in the consoles for both are overkill this gen too. So, to use an analogy, the XSX can do 70mph, the PS5 can do 110mph. The speed limit for this gen is 40mph. At that point, it's a wash.
i.e GPU/CPU/RAM continues to be the determining factor that makes these consoles go.

So Epic let FUD about the Series X spread for a couple months based on a demo they knew it could chew through because they had a marketing deal with Sony.
