Never finished the game and have been waiting on the upgrade to do a fresh run... For those of us like that, this looks great

Nah they didn’t even touch the combat :francis:

It’s still serviceable but it’s definitely one the weaker aspects of the game.

They did add an alternate way to cast signs where you hold the trigger then push the face buttons for specific signs which is nice, but yeah for the most part it’s the same XXY-dodge-dodge-dodge-XXYY flow to combat

I replayed the main story and will play Blood & Wine with the update. Granted it’s totally different styles of combat but looking back, CDPR definitely upped their gameplay pedigree coming from this to cyberpunk

Will jump back in after Ragnarok.
I think I made it about 60 - 70% of the way through the main story before backlogging it.
The game is great but I still consider it overrated. The combat has not weight to it. I've seen people praise the combat...I disagree. It's the weakest part of the game IMO.
