They need a category for best live service game.
Endwalker was last December for FFXIV and Destiny 2 had Witch Queen this year. Both were received pretty well.

I see it now on the site. Its literally just called "Best Ongoing". Both games are there + Apex and Fortnite.
Warzone should probably be there over Apex given the last year of trash content for Apex and the new map in Warzone.

Final Fantasy usually cleans up this award. I think the media is more enamored with MMO’s than they are with F2P shooters (outside overwatch)

Its gonna be tough for them to win over FFXIV. They just wrapped up a 10 year story thread with the last expansion.

Its gonna win. The game was absolute crack. Zodiark, Hydalen, shyt, they even brought in Anima from FFX.

I really wish i could buckle down and power through a Realm Reborn…

They cleaned up the Realm Reborn campaign (and the missions before Heavensward) a year ago and removed a lot of the filler quests and cut scenes.
Its a lot smoother to get through today to get to the good stuff.
