for example, the game hits you with Dragon’s Plague. They are basically telling you to commit the next 5-8 hours farming stones to bring back quest npc’s or you can just Spend 1 or 2 dollars on them in the store.

I agree with you on most of the other points, but this nah mane.
Dragon’s plague was a joke for me. I think one pawn got it once, and all it took was a rehire and we were safe again. Didn’t need to farm stones.

shyt, I tried to get it to set off by going to sleep back to back a few times and nothing happened :manny:

The pawns being dolls…I kinda agree but it also has a point narrative wise…despite how poorly the story was.

Enemy variety was weak even compared to 1, especially post game. Nothing to really keep you going like the Ur-dragon, and having a timer on the post game was silly.

If there’s no DLC no point in going back.
And even if there is, as you said I’m not sure they’ll be able to do enough to make it matter.
So much was stripped from the core of 1 for the sake of ”balance”

I thought they would’ve learned from the first but it seems like they took 2 steps forward and 3 back IMO :francis:

Breh, i checked the eyes every time i went to bed and all that shyt and still got it. It’s just a really useless and annoying mechanic that adds nothign to the game, it breaks a lot of other systems. It feels like a glitch that happened during development that they just decided to keep in the game because they thought it was funny

It was funny for sure and felt like a troll job, staring them in the face and wondering if they’ve just a smart ass or plagued. And I can’t lie I was shook most of the game…until I learned it only seemed to trigger if you slept in town (so I’d always camp).

I wish it was implemented better, or not at all.

Like…why have it trigger a cutscene you can do nothing about?

It would’ve been better if you could fight the dragon plagued when they flipped out and if you beat them you saved the town. They could’ve had that nuke happen if you failed the fight or took too long to stop it.

It’s a good idea on paper, but yeah the way its implemented just kind of felt shoddy af. It feels like a nexus mod

yep, I think I got one pawn with that shyt, and got rid of her quick. regardless I wouldn't spend money on mtx. I just pretend that shyt doesn't exist
