I don't doubt it would be but have you seen any hype for it like the games in that screenshot? This is from a guy that beat eternal on ultra nightmare
:yeshrug: I’m not disagreeing with you, that most anticipated list makes sense. I’ll only put Fable on it just to have a Xbox rep.

People make The Game Awards to be bigger than it actually is. Plenty of outlets give out awards. Most people watch TGA more for reveals and trailers than the actual awards. This isn't the final authority on what games are good.
The internets favorite past time is giving their full attention to things they hate in turn making it quite relevant

@gurf Like i said you are confused.

That thread was made based off the opinion of Colin Moriarty a known racist.

The same people in here attacking @The Mad Titan have either posted or co-signed content from that guy plenty of times over the years.

My point was that nobody here actually cares if these people are racist as long as they share an opinion they like.

The only time anyone jumps into these dudes history to find out if they are racist or not is if they want to discredit their opinion.

I personally reject the entire platform because i have zero desire to try to decipher who’s racist or not. I don’t need any of those peoples opinions to live my life. The actual news is available elsewhere.

Why do these random people on twitter deserve for their opinions to form and influence conversation here?
I actually agree, personally, I just assume the worse until proven otherwise.

So posting one or the other for me is all the same.

None of that makes it one man's opinion, the game awards is clearly important to all of the industry.

It's also the most popular because of the "man" behind it.

Meanwhile its about as legitimate as wet paper

I don’t think the vga is as important as you think it is to the industry outside the ability to market their games. Sure it’s nice lil sticker to put on the back of the box or whatever, but let’s be serious the vga is only important to the Stans. For legitimacy there’s the baftas or the gdc awards.

Nah the amount of people that watch the vga is huge. It's a reason that companies skipped what was E3 and just went for a VGA spot instead.

I also know it's great to have a on a resume as a game dev.
