Why don't you explain your position first............

Although its fun to debate, there is no way you can definitively argue the GOAT in any sport. The only thing you can possibly do is say who dominated they generation. If people wanna say Mike was the GAWD during his generation then its tough to argue against that. But the GOAT? Not sure about that. Depends on what criteria you're using. That's why I asked for the explanation.

Kobe has the weakest resume out any of the legends

thats what happens when you play half your career as a sidekick and not the franchise

His lack of MVPs severely hurt his resume. Its still very comparable to Shaq's.

You can't quantify a great player via mathematics son. The context is watching the game as is. A lot of other mitigating circumstances come into play such as the era, rules, competition at the time, popular coaching philosphies at that time, pre-defined position roles, etc etc etc. How you gon use math to determine who is better is laughable. No one does that.

So first you said I was using one stat, and when I showed you I wasn't, you said stats don't matter in general, even when used in large sample sizes and placed in context. Ok.

So tell me, what circumstances as you say (Rules, competition, coaching, etc) make Bryant better than Wade?

I'm very interested in hearing this.

Bruh, your whole steeze was how Laker fans aren't objective & rational. You don't believe Kobe Bryant has the criteria/career achievements to be Top 5? Fine. You're entitled to your opinion. Some people might put Duncan, Magic or Shaq there instead. Fine, that's cool. But Lebron? :upsetfavre:

If you think that's objective or rational thinking, you're either a hypocrite for doing the same thing you accuse Laker fans of or you're a troll. We got enough of those already :birdman:

I was talking about who the best ever are on a per game basis, given at least 7 or 8 years in the league. I wasn't going by legacy and greatness, stricly saying who was better, and I backed that up. This is you misunderstanding me, not me being a troll or a hypocrite.

and we all know why you're doing that :aicmon:

how can you ask us to be objective & rational, when the foundation of your argument is biased. don't come up in here with this per game/per year nonsense trying to diminish every legend's full list of accomplishments because Lebron can't sit at the grown up table yet :beli:

If we compared Lebron at 27 to Jordan at 27, it would seem that Lebron's career was more promising. This is completely asinine :snoop: Jordan went on to win 6. We know that. It happened. History isn't written for Lebron yet. He could go another 6 years without winning like Wade & that initial per game/per year analysis of yours would look fukking stupid as hell.

With that said, I don't know why it's so hard for you to tolerate a discussion about who has been the best in a per game sense. Nine years for LeBron isn't a small sample. He's a better basketball player than Kobe Bryant, but Bryant has the better resusme, as you stated. I wasn't talking resume. The resume discussion is a whole nother discussion.

I don't think you know the definition of what bias means because it doesn't come into play with what I said. I deal with the statistical facts in the matter, not my opinions.

Because you can't predict the future. Why make yourself look stupid as hell later on making wild declarations now.

I'm a Kobe fan. Imagine if I said Kobe had three rings by his 6th season. Jordan had none. Therefore, Kobe gonna win more rings than Jordan :lolbron: How fukking retarded would I have looked around 2008 :upsetfavre:

You stans were saying exactly that.

But more importantly, statistical extrapolation of large pools of data is appropriate when done correctly. Extrapolating "rings" is not statistically sound, even though you braindead c*nts were doing it back in the kobestan heyday.

You killing me dude. Large sample sizes? Really? This is sports not a census or survey.

The context is the type of ball that was played at that time and how that player got it done when you was watching.
