The term Black or African American & Nationality

You can't say I don't want the bureaucracy but then say lets get the government money, welcome the government guidance and standardizations, and all the rest- That is a fantasy world. The money is the reason for the bureaucracy.

The last school that I posted is a completely different thing than what you are talking about... it is not government funded and it's not on the system you are promoting. Did you watch the video? You should watch it. It has nearly everything you promote and most importantly they have very high expectations for black kids. No one can come in tell them what to do... None of the issues that come from Charter schools or Public schools will arise.. School like that can satisfy the needs of all sides.. the c00ns, the elitist, the pro blacks, the Afrocentric folk, and the educated. Also they can cater to science, a religion, a community or whatever is the preference.

the charter schools system and vouchers program is just a different way of handling the schools system, it localizes the bureaucracy, and it gives administrators more flexibility, but i wasnt trying to suggest bureaucracy will disappear, what i am saying that there will be less and more efficient

i never agreed with your 3/5 argument and i dont have a problem with government control, i dont think there should be schools that are completely independent, there has to be a system to make sure taxpayer money isnt being wasted and that the schools are meeting standards

i just think there needs to more local control, i never said there was anything wrong with government funding schools, that is what you said not me

and like i said the muslim school is fine, its not going against anything i said, my point is that under a voucher system parents can choose to take their kids out of public school and put them in a school like that

I'd say let's get a Facebook page started (Gotta come up with a name of course)

The facebook page would outline our plight and address the people of African Descent born in America to have a newly created and identifiable name as well as a flag that we can all agree upon based off a consensus vote.

I've been in contact with other Master Teachers and Scholars down here in Miami in which I am spreading the word about this to start the movement.

Let's do what we can to get this out in the open, Social Media, Radio, TV, etc.

as far as name... why not something simple like, black American union. Because people like quick initials like BAU. Maybe leave out American, since I guess some of us don't like to be called that as we were kidnapped and oppressed here.. So maybe Black Union. Either way it should be simple.

Jesse Jackson popularized the term African American's in the 1980's not knowing the fact the legally African American nore Black American is considered:

Black, Colored, Negro, Afro-American, African American have nothing to do with Nationality, bloodline, natural origin etc.

We need to establish Group Economics for our own. Our disposable income alone exceeds a Trillion dollars. Plus we spend over 400 billion dollars on black churches.

Group Economics, marketing and awareness of our history and where we need to go is our key.

I dunno brehs, I've always had problems with the label black. I mean when you think of black it represents darkness/evil, and dirtiness. While white represents good, purity and all that jazz..
Seems like we taking a psychological L just accepting people calling us it.. Thats why I prefer African American.

So then what??... we can't go with African... for the same reason we don't go with black. I've personally never heard a better sounding phrase than Black power - to me it sounds fiece and proud - so I like it better than African.... anything else. Regardless - we can't go with American.. and also...

The Black Union sounds good. Imagine if the Black Union had its own Olympic team. Gabby Douglas, the Dream Team, Carl Lewis, Michael Johnson and other world class athletes... playing for their people and their people only, and not for the worthless cacs.
