Keeping black people outside the levers of higher education especially in vital majors like medicine, law and other science related fields etc has been of the main goals of conservatives and their movement for decades if not more, today they get their wish granted to them by this right wing conservative supreme court, ending several decades of precedence and settled law. As a result of this decision the number of black people getting admitted into these universities and high level institutions would be severely hampered, and that's their goal, even if it can reduce the number of black folks getting into these institutions by 20-30 percent its a substantial win for them and in turn less qualified blacks that can credibly challenge them on their bigotry.

Also please pay particular attention to the vote, it was 6-3 all republican appointed judges by trump and George w bush voting to end this and all democratically appointed judges voting to maintain this long thought settled law. This is why i say no self respecting black person can sanely support a
republican from their policies down to their judges they appoint everything is set out to limit freedom and the civil liberties of minorities/non whites.

Affirmative Action was suppose to be for Black Descendants of Slaves only. It has nothing to do with Asians, Latinos or White Women but all used them to their advantage in education and employment. The Program has be rewritten for Us and Us Only. This "Include Everyone" Garbage is over. It was Asians who joined along with the White Supremacist to strike this down. Once Again the Republican Party attacks Rights that Black People fought and died for.

This is why I'm 100% fine with Black Americans completely separating for all other groups. There's been too many backstabbers. All programs going forward must say Descendants of American Slaves Period. No "People of Color" No "Minority". That ish is dead. They already do. Look at all those Cali schools that aren’t allowed to use AA for admissions. There was just a huge Reddit thread of a bunch of asian kids bytching about a Latino kid getting into all the schools he applied for while some of the Asians were rejected.

That kid had to wake up at 4am everyday to work at his dads construction site and full time during the summer to help his family, all of which he put in his essay.

These essays matter more than the SAT at this point at some schools. Colleges have realized that you can’t create or uphold a culture with a bunch of classwork obsessed robots who have never encountered hardship walking around campus.
