He sent him to rehab already, when he woulda been well within his powers to kill him then

How many chances should he get?
Tony failed Chris, he was basically his father figure. But Tony was scheming on Adriana when he was driving her to get the coke, even if he denied it. When they crashed the car he got caught out and he knew it. Even if nothing actually happened, Tony knew he was wrong but he would never admit that. That was the beginning of Chris' spiral. Tony should have showed Chris the same loyalty Chris had shown him.

Wow truly delusional. Carmella was his cousin. Tony looked after him and pushed him over Sil and Bobby and more deserving members. Paid his rehab, got him a role running webistics stocks , got him a huge role running the construction site in a no show role where all he had to was make sure no one stole. He failed because nobody respects him. He let those bikers put thoughts in his head that Tony was cheating and like a weak minded person he fell for it.

It wasn't just the bikers, everyone was saying Tony was doing the deed. And the reason they was saying it was cause Tony put himself in that position. They knew what Tony was like, Chris knew what Tony was like and Tony himself knew he looked shady. And Chris sucked it up but they changed after that. Tony was shady, he was scheming on Adriana and got caught cause they crashed, before anything happened, and in the end he did Chris dirty.

Chris could have turn rat and skid off with Adriana, but instead he gave her up to Tony cause he was loyal, and Tony fukked him

Heavily implied that Tony lied about that being the guy who killed him. I thought that was a huge point where Chris understood just how manipulative Tony is, even to him.

That's how I took it as well.

When he told the cop why he was there to kill him the cop was :gucci:

And then in the end Chris was just like :yeshrug:

It's also interesting how Tony mocked Chris wanting to be hollywood, but he ends up sending his own son to that industry. In season 3 we find out Chris kind of resents Tony for protecting kids of the other mobsters (Jackie jr) but keeping Chris in the mob.

Their relationship was ill.

"That's the guy Ade, that's the guy I'm going to hell for. My uncle Tony" :mjcry:

Exactly, Chris told the guy why he was killin' him wasn't important just that Tony wants him dead. Chris knew what time it was.
Did Tony ever find out Chris was banging that chick who was a dope fiend like him who had turned Tony down or nah? If he did that could add another layer to the rift. But I don't recall Tony ever finding out.

Yeah, in the basement when they were talking about Jackie Jr. Chris was like, "Why's he so precious?!" and Tony was was acting like the Juelz gif. lol
Chris was hating the guy by the end of the show. He saw thru all his bullshyt, that's why the plot of them going head up was there for the taking. Instead Chris just remains a junkie and tells Tony he would never pass a drug test after the crash. Then gets killed rather easily and conveniently. Wack.

One of the illest lines in the series.

Tony didn't fail Chris. Chris failed Chris. A junkie from the start, had dreams of going to Hollywood using stories from his mafia life. Always ungrateful despite Tony doing alot for him(getting him made at a young age, sending him to rehab instead of killing him). Chris felt he should have had everything now and it doesn't work that way in that life. Tony killed him because he had enough of his shyt.

This is true, I'm upset they wrote/made the character a complete junkie instead of someone who could have been a real adversary. After he went to rehab they should have ended that angle with him.

Adversary?? He was never a threat to Tony. He had real killers in nyc that he was beefing with.
John Sack
Phil
Even Carmine both old his son were about that life.

He could have flipped, told people Tony killed Ralph. He could have fukked him over if he really wanted to and he had more than a couple of reasons. Instead they made his main motivation was to get high. I didn't like that. :yeshrug:
