I think they will quietly put it out there for VOD/digital download sometime in the next 1-3 years. I know they're scared right now, but ultimately, greed will win out and they'll want to make SOMETHING back from this movie, even though they're going to be in a hole no matter what.

Capitol Theater has confirmed that Paramount contacted them to tell them that film has been pulled from release, but did not offer any further context.

While I think its clear that no credible threat of violence exists, these theater chains and Paramount are probably shook of getting hacked and exposed which is a legitimate threat

I don't blame them, this is just a temporary moment in time and will blow over quickly. But getting hacked on Sony's level will have long lasting effects. Not worth the risk just in the name of making a 'fukk yeah, America home of the free' statement
