Who spinning the fact is. The cpu in both the X1 and PS4 are not powerful enough to saturate their respective gpu's.I'm still researching on the PS4 CPU
GPU > CPU though and there really is no spin you can come up with that.
The Watch Dog requirements are scary, but I am glad you brought that up.what does any of that have to do with me saying the GPU should be the bottleneck
but you also have to get past last gen's paradigms. the CPU is going to become more important now that both next gen consoles have decent 8 core CPU's. did you not see the leaked Watch Dogs specs?
And I add: GPU>CPU>RAM
Had to learn this the hard way
Nah, let the other clowns in this thread tell you differently.
Get you an Intel 4770K and Radeon 6670 instead of an AMD Quad Core and GTX 780 and play BF4 breh. Let me know how that works out for you in 1440P
Nah, the GPU in the PS4 is not that powerful either. It's not strong enough to just pull away from the CPU like that.Boy @Liquid you a deflecting fool nobody is disagreeing on what you are saying in principle but in this case with the consoles esp the PS4 the cpu is overmatched for the gpu its paired with.

Under Recommended they list:
Intel Core i7 3770 and AMD FX-8350. The Core i7 > AMD...no doubt...especially if you get the unlocked version of that i7.
But what will benefit you more? The i7 paired with a GTX 760 or the AMD paired with a GTX 780? Come on daze...where will you allocate most of your money on?
A NETBOOK CPU THAT YOU CAN FIND IN SUB $300.00 NETBOOKS! KEEP READING THIS UNTIL IT SINKS IN. THE CPU WE HAVE ARE NOT POWERFUL IN ANYWAY! THAT WHY THEY ADDED SO MANY CORES.Nah, the GPU in the PS4 is not that powerful either. It's not strong enough to just pull away from the CPU like that.
ARMA might be the exception, but personally I have never run into an issue with how I have been building computers.obviously it would depend on what AMD cpu that was
but if I was playing Arma, I'd rather have the i7 and 760. GPU bottlenecks are usually manageable, since they can be affected by adjusting options. CPU bottlenecks tend to just be there, and there's nothing you can do but overclock
From all I have read the PS4 and XBOX One CPU's are almost equal.Boy @Liquid you a deflecting fool nobody is disagreeing on what you are saying in principle but in this case with the consoles esp the PS4 the cpu is overmatched for the gpu its paired with.
It's not the same chip breh...your struggle trolling is only getting worse as the launches draw near.@Liquid This is are cpu's are powering:
Now would you pair a 8-2 core version of this to a Amd 7870?
Ok you are not telling something I dont know. You keep deflecting the question at hand. These cpu are to weak for the gpu's they are powering. From all I have read the PS4 and XBOX One CPU's are almost equal.

Which still gives the advantage to the PS4 in gaming.
