No you being your old passive aggressive self as usual. This applies to both consoles. I do believe the X1 is better balanced from a cpu/gpu standpoint. Thats why Sony said themselves they plan to use the EXCESS gpu power for compute in the future.
You don't know anything about technology.

Again, GPU > CPU when it comes to gaming. The PS4 has the advantage there, all this "balanced" talk is just PR talk.

Well I guess Sony is dumb as fukk because those are their words. You saying GPU > CPu without context is asinine.

the GPU should be the bottleneck

the problem is when the CPU is the bottleneck and won't let the GPU do it's job
when it comes to games? The GPU should be the bottleneck?

that's a first lol

Thats what he's not getting. The cpu's in these system are not bottlenecking their gpu's. And Im sure he's under the impression the X1 gpu is the reason the 720p and 900p games. lol

it will be the bottleneck if you're not limiting your frames in any way

it should be obvious the GPU is the bottleneck if a better GPU would give you higher FPS

Its a 8 core amd Jaguar based cpu clocked at a rumored 1.6 ghz. Two are reserved for OS duty. 6 are available to games. These cpu are used in Amd netbook laptops designed for low power consumption.

What?

I keep thinking that we are talking about gaming systems and feel like this leads into the intel vs amd debate I had with @itsyoung!! and @2gunsup at times.

According to IGN pages, the xbox one cpu runs at 1.75 GHz and the PS4 cpu runs at 1.6 GHz, both by AMD.

The GPU in the XBOX One has a clock speed of 853 while the PS4 is at 1152.

The clear advantage is with the PS4 and people trying to debate how that is a clear advantage when it comes to gaming is ridiculous to me fam. I thought AMD killed this debate 2-3 years ago with their APU processors?

When building a system or console for gaming, the GPU > CPU when all things are considered (and you know this daze). Can the CPU throttle the potential of the GPU if the CPU is significantly weaker? Yeah, but that's not the case here with the PS4 and XBOX One.

You guys shouldn't troll me like this so early in the morning...on a Sunday.

Sigh you are wrong again maybe it was a typo. The gpu speed are 800mhz for the PS4 and 853 mhz for the X1. These cpu's are significantly weaker! They are netbook cpu's not the desktop AMD cpu's. These are barely more powerful than intel atom cpu's especially the new baytrail atoms which just launched may be faster than these cpu's per core.

Nobody trolling stop thinking you are above us in computer knowledge because you are not. It least not me.

Now answer this would you pair a Amd 7790 or 7850gpu to a atom cpu?

Not a typo and nobody has yet to come up with a legit counter-argument to what I am saying (which is absolute irrefutable FACT) that GPU > CPU in gaming.

If anyone is trying to imply that because the Xbox One has a slighty higher cpu clock speed than the ps4 it automatically negates the clear GPU advantage is foolish...or trolling.

All this balanced talk has you guys believing in the BS you read.

Not typo so a PS4 gpu runs at 1.152 ghz :usure: Ok buddie
And you didn't read anything else I posted. How are not going to know the specs and talk shyt lol

I'm not trolling anyone and stand by everything I said

the GPU should be the bottleneck. and unfortunately the CPU is the bottleneck in many modern games (often because the game doesn't scale well across multiple cores. hopefully they've got better at that though) do you think Killzone SF can only handle 24 AI because of some limitation in the GPU?

I don't agree and the Intel vs AMD APU debate kills your argument when it comes to gaming.
