Yep when most would pair a 7850/70 gpu with at least i3/i5 or FX series of cpu, You like ehh we can with pair it with netbook class cpu the competes with intel's atom and it's all fine with you. But devs say hey the cpu are the bottlenecks in these systems, but you disagree with them. Hmm ok I gotcha.

From all I have read the PS4 and XBOX One CPU's are almost equal.

They are. PS4 & XBox1 have the exact same CPU, the only difference is Microsoft recently upclocked the CPU to from 1.6GHz to 1.75GHz.

But that doesn't really matter because the PS4's GPU is much more capable of GPGPU than the Xbox1's GPU.
PS4's GPU = 18 Compute Units, 8 ACE (Asynchronous compute engines) that can manage up to 8 compute queues for a total of 64 compute commands. Xbox1's GPU = 12 Compute Units, 2 ACE (Asynchronous compute engines) that can manage up to 8 compute queues for a total of 16 compute commands.

Still don't agree man, I am going with history on this one and I think you are just looking at the cpu spike that just occurred (which happens at the start of any gen).

Over time, the GPU is where it will be at.

Breh, the CPU is almost identical from what I have read everywhere. You are looking at this simple 1.6 vs 1.75 and running away with it. The real difference is the GPU, but I'll let you clowns continue to brush over the real facts.

I am trying to get you guys to make the best informed decisions instead of making you feel better. Yes, it appears that the XBOX One has a slightly better processor which will help in other background features. It will still have a disadvantage when it comes to games though...which is what I care about (and most who are buying Day 1)

Of course I do, who doesn't?

We have to see how the CPU "holds back" the GPU if at all. All of it at this point is just talk when it comes to that front.

What is clear though? The GPU in the PS4 is stronger than the one in the Xbox One, thus giving it a clear advantage when it comes to games from the jump.

There is no goalpost being moved. The Xbox One has a weak ass GPU and the bottleneck to the gaming system when it comes to playing games. That was my whole point.
