I've seen video of Ukrainian military parking the vehicles near civilian areas (If the videos were authentic). They still might be targeting their military but it'll come with collateral damage.

This is how all these countries operate honestly. At least, the ones with power.

I think a lot of people believe these people operate on moral stances but the morality is simply the propaganda for the population to consent to their actions.

I think a lot of black folks, given our history don't understand this. We are very emotional and this is not always a bad thing because I think we empathize with others a lot more and is part of the reason we pushed ideas like POC and "allies" with other oppressed groups. As many are learning, other folks don't have this view point and are purely self-interested regardless of who they step on. In that case it can make you food out here. Obviously, he knew that. He's ex-KGB and I'm sure they were prepared for it economically. However, I doubt they expected the propaganda backlash that's on overdrive despite being as cautious as possible because it can't get any worse even if they were level the whole place to the ground (the whole thing has turned into a propaganda war).

The country will bounce back economically and the biggest losers would be the EU. But what they don't want is a long war that would look like an occupation.

Regardless, since talks failed today - I expect more force.

This is probably the biggest propaganda operation of modern times. But technology evolved so it gives more way to push propaganda more efficiently.

The biggest loser is the EU globally, Ukraine and France and the biggest winners are the US and China. Russia is just keeping the statu quo.
