They do have a neo Nazi problem in their military though. Rep Ro Khanna even introduced legislation, before this all popped off, to ensure that money and weapons sent to Ukraine didn't end up in their hands. They do have an issue with corruption and their right wing clamping down on LGBTQ rights. So they are in their military and government. But Vlad is just using that as an excuse because they were probably around before 2014 too. There was just a pro Russian government in place at that time.
