I'm not gonna lie, while Rock would knock the role out of the park, I would rather someone like Crews in the part, someone who's black and has the tough, street look. Plus, Crews would benefit from this more than Rock. I don't get up in arms about race and comic book characters, but like Black Panther, this is one of those cases where the look does come into play.

That said, if they were to do a solo film, they would most likely pick The Rock, because he's bankable and that's what matters the most in Hollywood. The $$$.

RDJ was still in his 40s when he became Tony Stark. They could have easily went younger with that character.

i already said what it means to me. i don't like the idea of bi-racial cats playing roles for black people. we have plenty of black actors who could fit the role and we don't need to give it to a man who ain't even black

I don't like whining though. If these Black actors can fit the role, why aren't they in talks? Who's fault is it? The directors, the writers, or magically the Rock? Befit blame on who deserves it..not for a guy who a director sees as a consideration. That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise, and Angelina Jolie are all raising Black children with no issues whatsoever from the White community.

FF is on Fox though and has no bearing on the cinematic shared Marvel Universe, which has so far been head and shoulders above the non-disney owned properties. Look what Fox did with the LAST FF franchise they had on their hands, they fukked up everything EXCEPT for Chris Evans as Johnny.

The shared Marvel Universe has extremely good momentum and buzz right now, if their going to give their Black superheros shine then they need to do it with the same respect for the source characters as they did their white counterparts. Luke Cage is 100% unequivocally BLACK and should be played by an African American actor PERIOD
