This guy isn't fit enough to be Batman
iun like how he picks and chooses when he wants to play the role of a black man.
He writes scripts? Picks and chooses? Like he's Will Smith in the game....the Rock doesn't own the companies he does movies for. Sound like you have a psychological problem with how he looks and how his movies does numbers in these non pro Black roles. If he was a joke and a half name like those goofballs posted in this thread. .it wouldn't even be an issue. Some real backward personalities are on this Net shyt..the I hate Black women club in that locker room forum and wack shyt like this exists while propping Drake for being a homo, propping Chris Brown for beating women....stupid.
WTF does this even mean?
You made absolutely NO sense in this entire post. The Rock is an established enough actor where he can pretty much pick and choose which movies he does, whether or not Jes offered the role or auditions it doesn't matter, have you ever read a Luke Cage comic? Are you at all familiar with his character? Luke Cage is 100% Black and there are established black actors who can portray him. I don't know why people think Michael J.White can't act but I personally have liked him in many of his roles (including black Dynamite, which has similar characteristics to Luke Cage) he'd fit the part perfectly....
And what the hell does the rest of your post have to do with the topic at hand? Ranting about black women hating posters in the Locker Room? Drake being a homo? Chris Brown? That shyt has NOTHING to do with what we're talking about
John Singleton had been trying to make a Luke Cage movie with Ving Rhames since Rosewood. I've been waiting on Luke Cage and Black Panther movies since was a kid.
I like the Rock, he's got alot of charisma but I'm just gonna go ahead and say it. He's not BLACK ENOUGH for Luke Cage. The Rock is one of those "Ethically Ambiguous" actors who picks and chooses when he wants to represent African Americans. Luke Cage is a strong, no-nonsense, proud BLACK Man through and through. Cast a "genuine" African American for this movie. Michael J. White could NAIL this role...

Nobody knows. .lol. At least no one with an ounce of sanity.

it means i want someone who's unapologeticly black as the role. not a mixed man who sways whichever way the paychecks coming from. didn't he have a white son in his last movie?
dude been racially switch hitting since his WWE days
Don't mind him. Every anyone says something even remotely critical of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, he lashes in a fit of autistic rage. Never mind him.
That being said, the Terry Crews poster made him look like a perfect fit. I don't know if he's young enough to pull it off. At least not the way I picture it. I wouldn't mind if they casted a relative unknown for the part either.
