Yo, first of all, mad respect :salute:

Now my questions. Are you a natural orthodox or southpaw? What weight is the dude you're fighting competing at? What do you weight? You move pretty damn good for a big dude breh, mad props.

No doubt bro, I'm here to share the joy of living and loving this sport. Now your questions-

1. Natural orthodox. Started going southpaw circa 09.
2. That dude is a super heavyweight and weighs 320. I weigh 215. And again, I'm not fighting him or all out sparring him. I train him and use light sparring to incorporate what I teach. If I need to take the sparring up a notch, I do so. But I'm always in control and never out to hurt someone I'm training. That would be a no no.
3. When I was an amateur, I fought at about 180lbs for the most part. And movement was what I did. I always was a defensive counter puncher. My style is unconventional at times but that's a result of growing up idolizing RJJ and being obsessed with Sweet Pea. But to be real, everyone tells me I fight like Hopkins, Light heavyweight era to be specific. And I concede that now lol. I'm not supposed to be as big as I am nor do I want to be. Id be good at a lean 190 tbh.

Hmmmm well offhand I have several vids of me doing my infamous sparring training with one of the heavyweights I coach. With my amateur heavy/cruiser and even light heavy fighters, punch output AND foot movement is what I work on the most. As ya may or may not know, amateur boxing is more about punches thrown than anything else. So when doing that golden glove prep I customarily get in there with my guys not to beat their asses but to provide them a moving target and work on all the mittwork and drills we covered leading up. Essentially I'm a moving punching bag with a high IQ lol. But can anybody tell me how to upload the vids?

EDIT:
Try this link fellas and lmk if it works for ya-
part 5 .mp4
part 1 .mp4

@Newzz @krackdagawd Not sure if you guys seen this; forgot to tag ya.

Try not to laugh too hard breh. This was an hour in (I was tired as fukk) and I'm still a novice. Still much to learn for me

speed and double end bag was a nightmare for me until I started doing it to music it becomes kind of like a dance if that makes any sense... early mobb beats especially are perfect for this imo slow tempo so you can perfect your form n timing n not makes mistakes that will take forever to correct :francis: but it's something that you will have have to keep doing it and it will just start to click.

shyt took me MONTHS to get decent my son was stunting 2 weeks in :francis:
