No offense but @PJTech You aren't giving a cover when you send kicks and you let your hands down contiously.

Thanks for the input

I'll aim to keep that in mind even whether fresh or tired
No worries, but yeah it was cool timing. Have you done any smokers? Do you lift weights? I tend to like boxing more tbh loool but the mechanics of kicking are cool too. But thai fighters fight too slow and mma thai fighters are corny to me. I just can't find good medium for thai fighters

Just tourneys years back, switched over to boxing now lol.

Going to be following a weight training routine just for overall strength and flexibility. Skillset can only go so far until someone just built better grinds you out

Thai fighters look up Samart payakaroon or Saenchai, they make their fights more interesting

Thai fights in Thailand generally start slow since its both feeling out and allowing gamblers to make their bets, then it picks up from the second/third on

Watch Glory Kickboxing, mostly dutch kickboxing but really good pace and thai fighters are in the mix too

Uh, to protect myself :yeshrug:

Where are my hands suppose to be?
Umm out so you're not constantly in a position to be pressured, like duh? If your palms are facing your face most likely you're covering rather than patting down punches

Fair enough.

Right now covering up is what I'm most comfortable doing. When I'm really going defensive I go into a Winky Wright like high guard. Right now it works for me :yeshrug:

Plus my coach is a stickler for that and when I put my hands out he'll tell me put my hands back in front of my face. I'm still new to the gym so I'm not gonna disobey what he says :manny:

Once I put in more time and really find myself and what works for me, I'll start incorporating more techniques :ohwelp:

you can put your hands wherever you want. where do you put your hips? more you square your hips up more you have to put your hands up. more you get your front hip pointing out in front of you more you can put your hands down.

you can do a lot of good things with your hips squared up. but you can do a lot of fun things with your front hip pointing out in front of you. kid gavilan things. henry hank things.

youre pretty squared up so heres a tip. hunch your back. now you can bring your head down to your hands so you dont have to bring your hands up to your head.
