Far Cry 3 ran pretty good on my GTX 550 TI back then.

It ran well on my 690 and my current setup if you look at the numbers, but there is microstutter (an sli problem). They never fixed it. It's weird. You get used to it, but it's still annoying. A lot of sli games have microstutter at launch, but it eventually gets fixed/patched. I dunno why Far Cry 3 never got fixed. I was just trying it out the other day, and I was like ...still?

Have people been having problems with Ubi's PC games? I mean. besides Watch Dogs and Uplay. Far Cry 3 ran well.

A lot of people had problems with black flag. It ran well for me, but I read some horror stories. Physx is still fukked up, but other than that, I can run that game smooth on ultra

I never bothered to play some games in window mode while browsing the coil. It makes games where I'm grinding(Persona 3) much more tolerable.

If you're set on the 660 get the cheaper one however I'd toss a couple more dollars at a 760 if I were you.

A bulk of the price is wrapped up in the 3 hard drives. The ecc memory is supposedly better for the ZFS file storage system that's all the rage. The recommendation is at least 16 Gbs or ZFS. the 4 hard drives allow for two to fail and the data can still remain. it's only gonna give me 6tbs total of storage.

If all you are storing is media and shyt you are going way overboard with ECC memory and red drives and supermicro parts..lol Do you though.

@Liquid or anybody that ships computers, how do you safely ship a computer? I don't wanna put it face down in my car or in the back of a UHAUL I don't think, so I'm thinking shipping may be the best route to go.

What do you use? A crate? How do you secure it to make sure shyt doesn't get fukked up during shipping? Obviously I'm gonna insure it.

I got an obsidian 900D case so shyt is big, but I gotta move it some how.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
