This nikka really in the pc thread trolling

I'm one of those latest-and-greatest types of people so yeah. The "fresh" profiles I used were through a redownload of the latest builds.
Dunno what it is. Borderlands 2 is the most annoying because it works over 60fps all day on 7 but it drops down on 8/8.1 to low 40s for whatever the fukking reason in certain spots (I know where they are).

I wasn't talking about a "gimped" port. I'm talking about Crysis 1 vs Crysis 2. the version of Crysis 1 that's on the ps360 was made with the Crysis 2 engine (CryEngine 3). there's nothing "lazy" about porting the whole game to a new engine. but along with that is the fact they went through all that trouble because the original Crysis, as it was released on PC (using CryEngine 2), would have been impossible for consoles to handle. it's pretty well known that a lot of PC's at the time couldn't 'handle' the game ("but can it run Crysis"yeah, you said something about a "gimped" port. Sounds like something a sony Stan would say![]()
That's one of the reasons why I don't mind dealing with Origin. You can "return" your purchases.Always had this beef with steam
I'm gonna make a concerted effort to not respond to him anymore. We can't have the PC thread ruined with this nonsense. This thread is sacred.Meach needs to go on ignore brehs...Plain and simple. Matter of fact, The Coli should have that option before registering and make sure they ask it again if u hit NO.

you can use the Resource MonitorIs there a way to constantly monitor CPU usage in win 8.1 (kinda like you could do with that widget in Win 7)?
Moving the cursor only managed to change the letter on screen to b or C but that was as far as I could go. It works now.
You are conflating the two concepts. Yes there is a problem with stuttering. But even without that stuttering its still a very demanding game.
It's absurd that you pretend to know what hardware/software "should" be able to do, even though you don't work on hardware/software.
yeah, you said something about a "gimped" port. Sounds like something a sony Stan would say![]()
Not trying to change anything.
The first thing I said was this
"Due to diminishing returns it takes a hell of a lot of power just for marginal gains. You PC dudes thought y'all would squeak by this gen with that old ass hardware"
That's been my argument the entire time. Y'all took it to all these other places cause you know PC master race and stuff.![]()
My only reason in joining this conversation was due to comments about "lazy devs" and "sloppy ports" cause system requirements are high for next gen games.
Even if/when they fix the stuttering issue, you will need an upgrade to play watchdogs at PC master race levels
Wasn't the only factor, but I thought it would be sufficient for some time to come since PC Stans told me the "next gen" consoles were weak sauce and my 660 would shyt all over them for some time to come![]()
I get well over 100 fps on BL2 at 1080p most of the time on my Win7 rig and never drop below 60 fps, even with all of the outlandish effects.
My 3GB GTX 660 with my AMD Phenom X4 @ 4.0GHZ is faster than your 2GB GTX680 with your I5-3770K @ 3.5GHZNobody is debating it's a demanding game.
So system requirements are made up for no reason then huh?
An XB360 game with noticeably inferior graphics AND performance AND resolution is somehow not the gimped port.
The backpedal.
Except the example used here was the poster's rig that's beyond overkill for the game - which doesn't include ye olde hardware like you're imagining.
Like you weren't in here trying to say console versions are better than PC.
Nobody equated the sloppy coding with the high requirements. That is your imaginary connection. The shytty performance on well equipped hardware is attributed to the coding by the devs.
"oh but rice n beans, you don't have the source code, who told you how the game is supposed to run???"
They publish system requirements for a fukking reason. Minimum and recommended. That's the DEVELOPERS telling you what hardware is needed to run the game optimally.
I don't know who you're pointing this comment at, but there's been one setup used as an example here and the poster doesn't need to upgrade.
Take vRAM as the sole deciding factor brehs.
You REALLY don't know shyt.
