If all you needed was specs and a screenshot to decide what hardware "should" be able to play. There would be no need for benchmarks, performance comparisons, or driver upgrades.

An XB360 game with noticeably inferior graphics AND performance AND resolution is somehow not the gimped port.

Nobody equated the sloppy coding with the high requirements. That is your imaginary connection. The shytty performance on well equipped hardware is attributed to the coding by the devs.

They publish system requirements for a fukking reason. Minimum and recommended. That's the DEVELOPERS telling you what hardware is needed to run the game optimally.

And the game runs fine if you have the recommended requirements. Unless your trying to run it at 4k 60fps on 3 screens. People were complaining a bout those requirements and saying the game shouldn't need them.

I don't know who you're pointing this comment at, but there's been one setup used as an example here and the poster doesn't need to upgrade.

No there's been more than one setup mentioned here. And once again my original post was reacting to someone complaining about system requirements and blaming them on lazy devs.

i got a question. on average, what does it cost to recover a hard drive? or a memory card from a professional camera?

reason i ask is cause my fakkit ass wedding photographer supposedly damaged his hard drive and is having a hard time getting back the data. he just told me they wanted to charge him $8,000 for the data recovery. this cant be true.

Unfortunately, it is in the range of thousands of dollars. If he has gone through the steps of trying to use different connections to recover data, the only alternative is going to be to open up the drive and take the platters out. This requires a clean room and special equipment as to not damage the platters or wipe data. Even in all that, the procedure is not guaranteed to work. I already been through the same shyt.

You might also be getting scammed.

My only concern is if they lock the files down like they did MP3...

I will not purchase this game till it is moddable...

so... I was breaking down the box my gpu shipped in, when I saw there was something else in there: my Watch Dogs code. I already own the game , and I really don't feel like going through the trouble of selling it. I'm willing to trade for Transistor ($20) or Broken Age ($25)

They really shook me up when they didn't release RDR...and they made a fukking billion dollars on GTA 5 already...so they didn't really HAVE to release it on PC
