Not even gonna front I was one of those fools...

They really shook me up when they didn't release RDR...and they made a fukking billion dollars on GTA 5 already...so they didn't really HAVE to release it on PC
Reasonable doubt...

I still don't know why they didn't release RDR on PC...

They didn't have to release V on PC but it never made sense to pass up on money... GTA unlike RDR was born on PC and has a very large community...They always had a PC release a year after consoles since the 3 era so the concerns for V never made any sense me...

I'm just kinda salty they wouldn't say shyt about it, and then we finally get confirmation via what was basically a PS4 announcement. and of course we have to wait until 'fall' aka the holiday buying season, because we basically have to piggyback on the ps4 and x1 releases, which are of course being held off until that time of year because number-crunchers and soul-less suits wouldn't want to possibly undercut any of their console-plebe numbers

yeah, I'm mad :stopitslime:

What is funny is that someone dug up a PC bug list from somewhere in the game...and Rockstar found out and they were just like :manny:...and somebody found a bunch of audio for Niko, pretty much stating he will be a part of a least one of the DLC's and Rockstar was like :manny:

I learned my listen though GTA V was the only one in the series that I copped on console...I won't be making that mistake again...

GTA is the only franchise I double dip...

I can't wait a year for the PC version...

Unfortunately I have a bad feeling V will be locked down like MP3 which will make it an even longer wait for modding...

I don't get why they don't embrace modding. just release it with full modding and steam workshop support, and it sells a gazillion copies on PC

They used to not give a fukk about GTA or MP modding until Hot Coffee happened...

They lost more money from that mod than they made off the PC version of SA...

That combined with their multiplayer initiative is why they hard code their games now...

So do you guys mostly use Intel CPUs for your gaming rigs? Are AMD CPUs any good?
High end AMD CPUs are fine, but yes more people go with INTEL because they make better chips.

It's all about your budget...that will decide all.

I seem to remember that Watch Dogs demo was running on 2 680's

I do wonder what happened, but at some point it is what it is. the game struggles to perform even with the 'downgrade'. I guess you can blame them for being too 'ambitious' or whatever with what they thought would be possible

anyway, I'm having a lot of fun with the game, and it does manage to look pretty nice at some times. hopefully a patch can iron out some of these performance issues

Well I was planning to spend $1000 on a gaming PC (maybe a little more but it depends). I'm not really into playing games like Call of Duty or Battlefield. I'm a fan of RPG, sports games, and open world type of games. My friend has a gaming PC already and I played Skyrim and Fallout: New Vegas on it and I couldn't stop playing them. Those two games are the type of games I would most likely play on my gaming PC.

I would like to see how NBA 2K would work on the PC but I hear that sports games are not great on the PC.

It looks like that on my PC (ultra settings) to be honest and we knew the demo wasn't running on PS4 hardware but of course the peasants didn't care to listen...
