Yeah, I’ve been lazy. Part of me wants to sell off the 4090 in prep for the 5090. But we’ll see.You still talk with your bro? No need to rush your build. Its summer - enjoy the heat.
Off a 3 grand budget will you need monitor(s), gamepad, mouse and keyboard, headphones etcetera?Im seeing the writing on the wall and I’m going pc. I got a 3 grand budget. Thing is I haven’t put a pc together since highschool in 02. I’m totally out of the loop as far as Ryzen or Intel. Liquid cooled fans and all this other shyt I didn’t have to deal with. Can a breh help a breh out.
I was definitely looking into intel but everything I’ve been researching has been saying go with the Ryzen 7 insteadBack when I had my PC built, I screwed myself by going with Intel over AMD. The PSU is slightly under what it should be. I've got an Intel 13700 and a 4090FE. My PSU is a 750W SFX.
Sometimes under heavy load (mainly when playing COD), the GPU stops working.
It comes down to what your goal is. Are you looking to just turn it on and do what you want to do with the least amount of tweaking, go Ryzen. If you want to overclock, undervolt, adjust, test, adjust some more to get everything you possibly can out of your setup, that’s where INTEL comes into play. Well specifically the K SKU CPU’s.I was definitely looking into intel but everything I’ve been researching has been saying go with the Ryzen 7 instead
I recommend using PCPartPicker and YouTube as resourcesI’m finally gonna start building one.
I dropped the GPU power target to 80% and I'm still getting this issue.Back when I had my PC built, I screwed myself by going with Intel over AMD. The PSU is slightly under what it should be. I've got an Intel 13700 and a 4090FE. My PSU is a 750W SFX.

The problem is your power supply itself. Even with the undervolt on your GPU, you’re still pulling anywhere from 600-650 watts between just your CPU and GPU. Spikes are always going to happen as well. You’re not giving yourself any headroom with that PSU.I dropped the GPU power target to 80% and I'm still getting this issue.
The problem could be:
- The PSU is faulty
- The custom PSU cables are faulty
Try pcpartpicker.comNo monitor, gonna game with a controller so just a simple mouse and pad with suffice
