Well, if you want to have 0 issues getting that you'll need at least a 40 series card. preferably at least a 4080. the 3080 can handle it with dlss iirc but if you want to future proof yourself I'd go with a stronger card.

I agree with the poster above you can’t get 4K 60 and ray tracing with that build. However, you should be able to get 4k 60 with high settings on most games. If you want ray tracing as well, you’ll need a 3090 or 3090 Ti.

3090 TI’s shouldn’t be that much right now. They were under $1000 at the beginning of the year. I sold my Strix 3090 around Christmas for $900. Let me take a look online and see what’s up.

Edit - I’m looking at a brand new EVGA 3090 Ti FTW3 Ultra for $940 shipped on eBay from a seller with 100% feedback with over 100 transactions. If you buy a used card, you’ll pay less than that.

AMD isn’t going to be as good with Ray Tracing. NVIDIA is better when it comes to that technology. Also, it just depends on how much you want to spend. You can go 3090 Ti for ~$950 or 4080 for ~$1200 but you’ll probably need a larger PSU and you’ll have to deal with the 12VHPWR cable with the 4080, which some people have had issues with.

I will say, I have two 4090’s and never had any issues with cables but I just wanted you to be aware.

I've had the game since launch but seeing it with Ray tracing + HDR is like seeing it for the first time again. I guess I should've hooked it up to my C1 when I first got it :wow:

So I'm looking at about $3000 after all said in done. But I should be able to max every game for the next 10 years

Went ahead n bought a msi stealth laptop brehs. Gonna give my alienware to my nephew.. from what im hearing the 4090 mobile is about on par with a desktop 3090 and better with dlss 3.0 and ray tracing titles but ill confirm that when i get it :francis:
