Unless you're short on time, I would suggest waiting out the 3080. Or even the 3070. I got one, but I wouldn't suggest anyone buy one unless the deal is too good to pass on

I built everything from scratch and my current gpu is like 7 years old so I can’t wait, I am just waiting to plug in new gpu.
I legitimately think bestbuy had 50 cards in stock, even the ps5 showed up in stock
Only thing they can really do is release em randomly
If you can't wait and you don't care about HDMI 2.1 features (4k >60/8k) then that's the best card available
if you care about 2.1 then just cop a 2070 super or 2080 super to get you through and hold out, then sell when you can get the 3000 series. The value proposition was terrible from jump, but it was the best mainstream gaming card available. Now there's an all-around better, cheaper card "available"Phillyrider807

I dont see why it wouldnt.. I have never had to turn the settings down on my 2080
but the 2080ti right now can play just about every game out at ultra settings, why are we trying to make it like this new card is that much better? They say its technically better but really? is it a noticeable difference?
Oh well. I woke up late but it looks like i would not of been able to get one anyways. I will just slightly OC my 2080 Super once Cyberpunk comes out.
