My PC has:
  • Asus Strix GTX1070
  • Intel Core i7-7700K Kaby Lake Quad-Core 4.2 GHz
  • 8×2GB RAM
  • Asus Strix ROG Z270F
  • 250GB SSD for C:
  • Liquid Cooling
  • 1920×1080 monitor
I don't play online so I just need my PC to play FPS like Call of Duty and Battlefield or Strategy games like Total War at highest graphic setting. Should I upgrade my GPU or CPU with newest model or should I wait for future model?
Only upgrade if you are planning on upgrading your monitor to 1440p too

:mjlol: You can raytrace on gtx cards, Nvidia has no shame

Wait for next gen rtx cards
Your pc can play almost any game 60 fps at 2k or less
Your cpu wont need upgrading for a while cuz anything over an i5 wont bottleneck a computer in gaming

it's a good way to sell RTX cards:

"this is what ray tracing looks like. now buy an RTX card if you want playable frame rates"
or you can just look st battlefield with raytracing on twitch or YouTube and decide if it's worth it...

Which computer parts are interchangeable? My homegirl looking to build one and I'm trying to see which ones can be changed out. I'm guessing not the cpu since that's connected to the cpu cooler. Maybe things like the memory sticks? All the data on the hard drives right?
