Doesn't AMD have their own raytracing called Radeon Rays it used to be called FireRays
Yes but if Nvidia cards can barely get it to work (raytracing) on their cards, how do you think it will perform on current AMD gpu's if performances are similar for newer cards.
Nvidia needs to continue creating something that game-developers need to continue using their products because next gen consoles being all AMD built especially around ryzen and navi. It's important for them to keep a foot in the that circle and raytracing clearly is their only current option to do that.

I don’t normally fukk with tech stocks, but this Nvidia drop could be very profitable :lupe:

Nvidia Plunged By More Than 50% since October Becoming 'Too Cheap to Ignore'
:manny:
The way machine learning and ai hasn't fully taken off and cryptocurrency mining. Plus the sale of the large stockowner idk.

Nice enjoy breh, you deserve it. :wow: That Asus motherboard is my favorite part, too bad I have no reason to spend over 600 + 1000 plus for a i9.
Are you talking about the ASUS ROG Maximus XI Extreme? I looked at that one and the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Xtreme had a 10G Ethernet and a Thunderbolt 3 port on it for $50 less.

I just have an unused motherboard I'm itching to drop a 9900K in
what do you need it for :gucci:

What's with everyone trying to buy i9 9900k it's completely useless unless you are a video editor. Y'all really gonna drop 500 + for a i7 pretending to be an i9 :gucci:

That additionally amount can go to a better graphic card or especially a better monitor

The i9 brand in a sham in itself, even on LGA 2066. They are i7s that were rebranded in retail as the engineering samples renders them as i7s

And being an enthusiast doesn’t mean practical

Then why do you want it :gucci:

only reason to buy the i9 is because you can't afford the higher i9 chips and instead need igpu for video editing. Anything else you are better off with the 8700k/8086k or 2700x

2700x is 10% slower in a few task, I wouldn't waste a dollar more for it.
I'm waiting to see if Ryzen 3 is 16 cores on the ryzen 9 lineup :wow:

upgrade all my support rigs and htpc's

You right, will probably just keep the 2700x/Vega 64 combo

I need a case though but these new cases are garbage
Vega 2 is coming you know :blessed: Maybe even tweak the buggy CF stuff that Vega 1 is having.

Hopefully it is good enough to make a difference on these samsung tv's.

Currently got the right in my old NZXT Source 210 but it’s a tight first with the Noctua Cooler
Get a Meshify C
Jesus christ a 210, I have 2 sitting around somewhere that case is cheap hoard data king :wow:

it's whatever they want to call it. it's not like there's a set definition for what an "i7" is, especially since the 9700k doesn't have hyperthreading

What was an i7 but an i5 with hyperthreading?

NYC black coffee tough guys aka the Stoozy Boys
I'm wondering how smoothly this transfer is gonna go. I gotta move Windows 8.1 with Media Center off the 3570K PC to the 6700K PC that currently has Windows 10 on it and then move that Windows 10 to the 9900K PC. Prolly gonna have to call Microsoft 2-3 times.

The Google Chrome with a few tabs open on my 3570K old build uses 8-9GBs of RAM on it's own. I've never needed more than 16GBs of RAM but I'm still considering going to 32GBs because why not?

If you have the OS CD, you should be fine with the win10 transfer, just input the cd key and you're good.
