Personally, I think they’ll launch a Titan X (Turing) that will cost $1800 to $2,000 and will be 20% faster than the 2080ti. Then they’ll release a 2080ti part 2 for $1500. After that it’ll be 30xx time.
2080ti part 2 for even more :gucci:

Nvidia would be shooting themselves in the foot releasing another card (2080 ti part 2) that cost more beside Titan's. 20% increase sounds right - if they want even a higher tier gaming. I'll expect it to cost 1600-2K too That'll mean someone shouldn't even waste their money buying 2 2080 ti's

You gonna watercool your setup only to buy the next titan x and titan xp, it should fit* like previous generation :russ:

Going to reuse the NZXT Source 210 in my new build, small and compact and lokey. No more RGB and lights for me. A lot of the new cases are form over function, so I'll use it for now.

Got 4 Noctua fans and the D15S coming later today

Will be going with the 9900K when it's finally released but I'm conflicted on the GPU

On one hand, I finally wanted to go stupid high end for once and get the 2080 Ti but the Vega 64 has been calling me

Pick up a 1080 ti used or low end in price new, a 1440p g sync monitor, get a freesync if you don't want to pay an additional 200. Vega is not worth the asking price at all. Used market for vega are all mining cards

Get a Rx vega 56 (for msrp) if you want to go AMD, just understand you will always get a better nvidia gpu for that price.

What's the context of the gif :dahell:

Vega 64 is going for 499.99 :dwillhuh:The cheapest new 1080s are only 30 dollars cheaper.

The prices for 1080 Ti's are crazy right now. Might as well just get the 2080 ti if you're going to be paying over $750

If you’re interested, I could be persuaded to sell my last Titan X (Pascal) for the same price as a used 1080ti. I already sold one of them on eBay, and selling to you would cost me $100-$200, but I like to hook coli brehs up. I won’t be able to ship it until my 2080tis come in mid-October though, given that I only have one Titan X (Pascal) left. Let me know.

I'll keep you in mind. I haven't made up my mind yet.

Your case and what you want to put in it, :scust: buy a meshify C throw in the noctua fans

All monitor used are IPS, you don't want to buy a TN panel.. for 1440p

Cheapest rx vega 64 - freesync ips monitor
System Builder - Radeon RX VEGA 64 8GB RED DEVIL - PCPartPicker

Cheapest 1070ti + gsync 1440p monitor
System Builder - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB AMP Edition - PCPartPicker

cheapest 1080 + gsync 1440p monitor
System Builder - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB - PCPartPicker

Cheapest 1080 ti + gsync 1440p monitor
System Builder - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB Gaming OC 11G - PCPartPicker

You'll have a cheaper better route of upgrading in the future with nvidia gpu right now than AMD, don't be stuck with a freesync monitor. I only use Vega's for mining and TV gaming (samsung tv with freesync cost at least 900 dollars). I have to use a 1200w powersupply to use 2 v64 together

If I was in most people position I'd buy a 1070 if I was in your case with a IPS 1440p monitor until I buy a 1080 ti tier card. I just sold a bunch of 1070's for 250 dollars smh

And you live in california right? the used parts mecca jealousy through my veins :aicmon:

:comeon:

Not really as this is a new build / rebuild and I was going to upgrade my power supply from 2012 regardless
For what it should work :russ: just saying 1080 ti/titan xp for the low will age better than vega

Because I want a fully modular power supply.

NVIDIA cards and AMD cards age about the same based on the benchmarks, the only AMD cards that didn't age well were the R9 Fury Series.

And being subscribed to buildapcsales, ain't no 1080 ti deals right now. Ciggaveli would be a steal but that's only because he would be doing me a favor.

You sounding like a shareholder right now :patrice:

I have more shares in AMD than nvidia :russ:

Nah AMD has been a generation or 2 behind consistently. Only time they were better than Nvidia was the 4000 series

I would go used route but understand why you want new, you'd lose no value in buying Cig card for at least a year.
