Why even start it as an auction breh? That's risking someone backing out if they find a better deal.

Just let it run with a buy it now and set the "offers" as the lowest you are willing to consider...auto declining the rest. Once you communicate with a buyer don't accept the offer, instead just tell them you are setting it to the price they offered and it will force them to pay immediately to secure it. I would remove the international shipping as well.

I've dealt with eBay too long :snoop:

How much can I get for this monitor and GPU?

Help me with the buy it now prices.

Just undercut the lowest available in the same condition by about $5 total.

Add $4.99 for shipping to make the buy in price appear even lower.

Arguably better than most monitors, with a few caveats.

1) You’ll get higher refresh rates with a G-Sync/free sync monitor (albeit only 24 more than a 120hz 4K)

2) you won’t get burn in with a monitor (I have a 4K OLED, so I’m sensitive of this)

3) you can get a lot closer to a monitor (I have 2 32” monitors, one 4K and one 1440p/144hz, that I put on my computer desk. shyt is huge. You can tell differences better when you’re that close. Putting a TV on your desk isn’t feasible),

4) monitors have sleep settings and turn on and off automatically

Go to Reddit hardwareswap and use craigslist to sell the monitor, you can get 200 dollars for that monitor. It'll be too expensive to ship that monitor anyways.

You can buy a 1060 for 200 dollars, I hope you didn't overspend.

Worst time ever to buy a Pascal-line GPU. First, the new gen Turing cards come out maybe in 2 weeks. Second, that 1060 will be cheaper with the new 2080s and 2070s available in stores

Return that shyt ASAP and wait a few weeks.

I finally found a use for my 34" Ultrawide Dell monitor...watching bullshyt 21:9 aspect ratio shows. I don't know why it is, but I hate the black bars on 21:9 media on a 4K TV (and I'm paranoid about burn-in). Now, I don't have to worry about that. I might take a pic of my office setup later tonight. I got my Alienware hooked up to 2 32" monitors, the ultrawide connected to 2 laptops, and a random iPad thrown in the mix. shyt is nice, if I do say so myself :ehh:

I like Corsair too. However, ram is kinda all the same. Faster ram is not even noticeable in my opinion.
For your iMac? Either will work.

Generally you would go with the Corsair because of the slightly lower latency, but double check how the iMac plays with it. Mac's sometimes downclock a bit if it doesn't like the latency lowered.

I would go with the Corsair.
Yeah for the iMac.
Thanks. That's the one I was leaning towards. Just wanted a second opinion.
We're editing a lot of 4K videos.
I've always been fine editing 5 - 7 minute videos but recently we've been getting jobs for videos 20 minutes and longer.
At those lengths, with multiple instances of video open at a time in Final Cut Pro, things tend to slow down a little. (Nothing major but since business has been going well I want to upgrade the RAM and keep things as smooth as possible).
I actually only have 16 gigs of ram in my new iMac because I refused to pay Apple's ridiculous prices for RAM. If I remember correctly, to upgrade to 32GB they want something like $600 more.

Find a arm and mount the ultrawide above your monitor setup.

Also - UltraWide Video
Ultrawidify – Add-ons for Firefox

No matter what cpu you have, linux installations takes forever to load or just completely freezes
