People forget the best consumer cpu we had was a 10 core $1700 i7 6950x! We have 22 more cores for the 100 dollars moreThe 2990WX - 32 cores, 64 threads, 250 watt TDP
The FX 9590 - 8 cores, 8 threads, 220 watt TDP
AMD has come a long way
I need it, I want it
Yeah, I’m a hardcore Intel evangelist, and that 32 core shyt has got me like , maybe AMD is the way moving forward
If the 2950x / 2920x can do what the ryzen 7 2700x improvement on gaming, 1950x gets around the same or a little more than the 1800x/1700x/1700/1600x at 4.0ghz. But if we can get to 4.3-4.5ghz on 2950x It'd be the best cpu to stream/gaming
Intel current new cpu xeon 28 core cost 9000 dollars! I'm baffled that intel has the bulk like 84% of the marketshare, left us with quad core for the longest time, and all of that money in research and you couldn't release anything proper? 18 core i9 with 48 pcie lanes what?
This is a PC miracle, now only if the gpu market can release some outstanding stuff. Only outstanding gpu from Nvidia is the GP100 and it cost 8000 dollars. Even the Titan V is trash in machine learning compared to cost against the Titan XP.
