Intel really needs to fix their CPU heat problem, we shouldn't have to rely on delidding 300-2000 dollar cpu's at this point.

Because I'm in a small space for a month. Quickly built a i7 8700k/1080 ti inside a fractal design node 202.
Just tried gaming. The temp reached 79 (no overclock!!!!!) while gaming and the GPU hit 88 degrees! :sadcam:

Do not buy cases like node 202 or RVZ0 with intel 7th gen and above gen. K chips.

Going to buy a RVZ03 tomorrow, it can fit a AIO 120mm apparently, let's see if the H60 can fix this problem

Had an i5 and 1080ti FE in my node and couldn't take the noise or heat. Watercooled it all real quick in a normal case.

After trying to deal with the RVZ03 (bracket broke) today, your right I'm just going to throw the old build in there. Probably make the modification to attach a watercooler in it. Now I have to go a few days without gaming :francis:

and @Ciggavelli check this out. Best hardware comparison that I've seen.

Good luck, It's why i moved old system to a backup with a 1060. About to swap out to a Lian Li PC-O11 Air, this in win 303 has limited space and airflow.
If you on small form factor you should check out the Cougar QBX Kaze. Can throw up to a 240mm aio in it to cool that i7.

Yup, that's why I always go SLI. But, the video only benchmarked games that have sli capabilities. More than half of the games I play don't support sli :mjcry:

QBX is a great budget case but I'd always pick the Ncase m1 over it.
I agree with you but currently need this to travel node 202 is perfect size.

wow, I see I've found another person whose really into cases. I had a 303 first taste of TG and last week received my Lian Li Pc-O11D. Lian Li makes the best cases. My go to for show pieces. They are artwork that deserve custom watercooling. Going to throw TR4 and 4 gpu w/ 2 power supplies in it for deep learning
The air looks like a Lian Li, Corsair with the top with a silverstone tj like body and thermaltake like panels :russ:

Yeah I threw the budget one out there, been looking at that Ncase for a min :salute:
Same for me with the 303. Got over acrylic on evolv itx real quick The white dynamic has been tempting me for months, especially since they changed the design on Air

I currently have a MacBook Pro and I'm looking to sell it, to get a laptop with Windows. I like the Surface Book 2, but then again touch screen functionality is something I really don't care about. What are some good laptops with similar build quality and reliability as the MacBook Pro?

Razer Blade
Lenovo Yoga 920
Dell XPS 13
Surfacebook 2

I’d get the Razer Blade, personally.

For Work - regular use, don't buy this for gaming - Dell XPS 13 or 15 (personally my favorite ultrabook)
For Gaming - Razer Blade (best size, specs and even a great price for specs) - Make sure you check for if you are getting a 4K screen or a 1080/144hz

Ha, I have the Evolv ATX too :russ: Returning the RVZ03 and picking up a Shift today to throw the 8700k in
You'll like the 011-air a lot if you need the airflow and have all the fans for it.
Every once in a while I get the itch to build so keep several cases, fans, custom sleeves
Then cases resale value are the absolute worse unless you have a gem

You could just install Windows on your macbook if you wish :manny:

Been conflicted on whether to buy a 3770K and max out this old system or just building a whole new gaming rig.
