My laptop is 28gb, I have no music, pics, or movies but only have 4gb free, but need 8gb to update the Microsoft security updates...will getting a portable hard drive fix this problem

Seems like this damn thermal paste is rare to find. Went to Wal-Mart last night and now best buy and it seems to be online only. Got me having to wait a few days for some damn glue. 
ima check office depot across the street and see. I would go to radio shack but all the ones within my area closed 
and I'm not trying to drive no 45 minutes to a best buy that may have it according to the website. If office depot don't have it, I'll have to order online then.

Bought my first portable hard drive, figure I would need it for grad school that I start next month....I still had a gift card from Xmas so I only paid $10 out of pocket...I'm excited, I figured it was better than getting a flash drive

You shoulda got an intel if you have one card. AMD is fickle with their drivers and shyt. Nvidia releases a new driver like every 2 weeks. AMD...not so much

Do not go that cheap on a laptop. Probably the cheapest you should go is around $500 for a new one and less than that if you go refurbished, but $250 is probably too cheap. Read this article: The Best Cheap Laptop
I'm getting fed up with my mechanical keyboard. This is the 2nd one I got(I had the 1st one replaced through warranty.) It's the Thermaltake one.
First I had chattering keys and I used a program to fix it and now it's worse . My "w" key sometimes doesn't even register and it makes typing a nuisance since I'm constantly making errors.
