Have a question, I can't download Microsoft security updates because I only have 3gb free but I need 8gb free, if I get an external hard drive will that allow me to get the security updates
you'll have to move other stuff to the external to free up the space on your OS HDD

Anyone know how to deal with a cpu temperature error? The bios says it's at 89 degrees Celsius and it's not reading my liquid cooling fan. In fact, the part that goes on the cpu with the corsair logo feels warm. The fan is spinning. Could it be a setting I'm missing or a bad connection?

Ok so it looks like it's not my liquid fan but my case fan. I have the corsair fan plugged into my motherboard and when I unplugged it and moved it to the port right under it switched from cpu fan to cpu opt fan, I switched it back. So it has to be the case fan. It's spinning but now I'll have to find out where it's connected and see if I can switch it to the motherboard.

the case fan not working shouldn't get your CPU up to 89C. that's most likely an issue with the liquid cooling, or the bios reporting the wrong temp

check to see if there's a bios update for your mobo. I really don't have experience with liquid cooling, but you need to figure out if it's working right, and properly installed on the CPU

personally I have all my case fans plugged straight into the PSU. only my CPU fan is plugged into the mobo. the drawback of that is the fans are always at full throttle, but I kinda like it cause the computer makes a consistent amount of noise (but I can still hear the GPU fan throttle)

Yeah it was the bios. The case fans were all installed to the power supply. I unplugged the one in the back of the case and into the mobo. The temperature in bios weren't from 89 to like 55. So it had to be a bios thing. I guess it doesn't recognize fans that aren't connected. I'll check the rpm on bios when I get back home tonight.

wtf kinda snake oil is a "green tea" mattress?

I tried a memory foam mattress and didn't like it. among other things, it was too hot for Miami
